A Rugby Icon Is Gifted An Incredible Breitling Watch

Sarah Hunter, nothing short of a rugby icon, the England captain announced her retirement in March earlier this year. Red Roses’ most capped player, with 141 caps for her country, has pulled the curtain down on her career as she retired; her last test match was played in her hometown of Newcastle at Kingston Park. A woman who has done a lot for not only women’s rugby, but for women in sport in general, has been a true servant to her sport.

Therefore we teamed up with the TikTok Women’s Six Nations and Breitling to create a memorable video about her defining moments in rugby. Sarah spoke about her favourite memories whilst being England’s captain, and she also spoke about how far the sport has come as a whole, saying how proud she is people can do this for a job nowadays! Sarah also spoke about how she led England to winning the Rugby World Cup back in 2014. While Sarah was reminiscing and speaking fondly about her career, the Social Bull Media crew were busy directing, filming, photographing and monitoring audio, making sure this would be a piece for Sarah and the whole of the TikTok Six Nations to cherish forever. 

Sarah was gifted with a Breitling watch and we caught all of her reactions on camera. We allowed rugby fans to be part of this moment by capturing everything and producing it into succinct social edit everyone to enjoy. Breitling is a big sponsor of the TikTok Women’s Six Nations, and they wanted to show their respects to Sarah by presenting her with a watch for her service to the Red Roses. Sarah was unaware of the gift coming from Breitling as she thought she was just there to talk about the highlights of her career. Little did she know she was being gifted with a beautiful watch. What a gift!
